Manual trans conversion questions..
I want to convert one of my 79 300CD, non turbo cars, to a standard. What, aside from the tranny, and components, does this require? I know I need the actual parts (which seem to be really hard to find to begin with) but do I need to change anything else along the way? Is the fuel pump, and/or throttle linkage any different? Injectors? Is the starter any different? Is there any other components, or adjustments necessary in order to make the conversion so that even the car thinks it was like that all it's life, from the factory..?

I did it one Supra, mechanically bolted on with relative ease, the things need doing were reverse lights and neutral switch wiring.

Here....
It's all going to look something like this.
(Prior to cleaning, that is.) Installing it all is pretty straight forward. Just nuts and bolts. (and NO, I didn't install a used disk ) And - Good luck tomorrow.

Make sure that the flywheel for the manual trans can fit on the end of the crankshaft of the engine.
