Bored...

What do you guys like to do when your board..? I'm just endlessly refreshing several websites hoping people will post...

iwrock 04-08-2007 01:32 AM

Bored... Whats that?? Colloege students dont have time to be bored...

Actually. Youtube, and Mercedes...

Offtopic.com

Watching the boob-toob.

Tinkering on one of the Mercs.

If I am really bored, grab the keys, grab some music, fill the car, and drive. Nothing better at relieving stress, and burning time!

Hatterasguy 04-08-2007 09:03 AM

I hear you. College related work takes up like no time so I have a lot to burn.

I usualy will surf a few forums at once and try to talk to people, or go to my buddies shop and bother him.:D

I can't wait to start the new job in a month, I do not do good with sitting around I need to work!:(

Lately I have been just driving around looking at property, but at $3 a gallon that starts to get old after awhile.

All I can say that you are living in a time where access to information and learning is virtually un-limited. Why not change from passive to pro-active? Why not start learning something new? Doesn't matter whether it's geo-politics, computer programming, birdwatching, golf, or ......... Maybe as simple as turning off the computer and going to the library to find some books to read or listen to on CD.

I search Wiki all the time for various things, picking up useless trivia gets old after awhile.

Personaly I am looking forward to this semester ending so I can get back to work. I feel totaly useless and bored if I am not working at least 40+ hours a week.

300SD81 04-08-2007 04:16 PM

I tend to read wikipedia randomly alot, but that gets old after a few hours..

Yeah but you learn some really random stuff! I'll start thinking hmm let me learn a bit about one thing, so I search it then I follow all the links in the article. You can spend hours reading on a topic.

Like the other day I started reading about the T72 tank and ended up on WW1 tank battles.

Y'all need a woman to screw around with!{or a man, based upon your gender preference,no disrespect intended}. Settin' in front of a computer monitor waxin' yer knob don't quite cut it after awhile.

Sticky situation anyways.:D

You got broadband? You can watch tons of stuff on the major network sites. Good waste of time.

Boredom...

is what hobbies are meant to suppress.

Most of my house projects were initiated (and completed) as a result of boredom.

One day last year, I was terribly bored playing mindless "Spider Solitaire" games and stopped long enough to stare throughout the room I was sitting in and decided it needed a major overhaul.

Three weeks later, this was the end result.

I go to wal mart and like walk around... or sit outside on my roof with my ipod... go to the junkyard and look for neat things or rare mercedes parts... Go to antique stores and find old coolers... make stencils and spray them on things...

I really need a girlfriend(that last one dumped me)

That sucks, how long were u together for? U can pm me if u want, lord knows I've been through it enough... Take it easy, you'll find someone else

Yeah... I'm in the oppiset situation of you... U want one?

Drive that old benz up to wisconsin and solve my problems PLEASE!!!

I'm dating my best friend, she's allways been there for me (as I have for her)... We've had a crush on each other for a few years, didnt let anyone know. Shes not exactly a model, but not bad. It's not a big deal with me, because she's got everything else. She's smart, has attitude, funny, pratcical... Everything. Even her family loves me (as does mine to her)

I finally asked her out friday (She said YES!!!) I really enjoy being with her... But she doesnt go to partys or anything, which is kinda importaint to me...

And now there's a really hot girl who's chasing after me hardcore, Told her that I've got a girlfriend and dont want to mess that up. I asked her to leave me alone, and she says she wouldnt tell anyone....... **** that, but yeah, she's good looking, partys alot, bla bla bla:behead: So if u want, I can give u her number :D Hit on her for a while and then let her know ur from Florida :D

I'm never bored... Between work, school, cars, and girls, I'm compleatly covered with lack of bordom

The question is... How long can I keep it up, before they all blow up in my face?

G-Benz- what a great job you did on that room! I read, go on the forum or study.

I usually find a new interest, beat it to death, then move on. One year photography (bought a ridiculous amount of equipment - now gathering dust); next year pistols (bought about 10 pistols in a 24 month timespan, Glocks, Sig Sauers, Colt 1911 National Match, Colt Python, H&K,etc. - sold off all but two) motorcycles (came close to buying a mondo Kawasaki sport bike a few years ago, but I allowed a physician friend to convince me that I had an allergy to traumatic amputations). This week it's snowmobiles. Next, who knows?
