Relocating to South Boston VA

And am hoping to find some fellow MB enthusiasts out that way. I'll be bringing my two 300D's, and hopefully another one. I start work on the 17th, can't wait to get settled.
The only part that is going to suck is trying to finish this house up so I can get it on the market and sold, while working 3 hours away being a geo bachelor. I've hopefully found a place to rent for a couple of months, should know next week.

Where's South Boston, VA? It sounds vaguely familiar, but I don't know much about the southern part of the state. I live in Fairfax.

Good luck with selling your house, moving, and your new job.

Hmmm, don't know if you'll have a lot of luck finding much of anything in South Boston, much less fellow old MB enthusiasts. Best of luck on the house sale and the move.

Ish, yeah, not much to do there. Cousin used to own the Caterpillar Dealership there. Think they got a blue plate place too. Big nASScar fans around the Sooth Boston Eria.

South Boston VA is about three hours West of where I'm from now, on Highway 58. If you think of Roanoke, go about an hour south. If you think Martinsville (ie NASCAR track), go an hour East.
Yeah, not much to do there, but that's fine with me. Even Suffolk is getting too citified (is that a word?) for me.
Thanks for the words, and I'll definitely still be on the forum, although it's probably going to be on dial up.. (Shudders at the thought)
