actually that is a lot more than a mil there. i am not sure how much but i am pretty sure about that.

the owner is not restoring it but will refurbish the mechanicals and keep it original. it is a very early ferrari and one of the few not ruined forever by over restoration. (well, not really ruined but they are only original once!)

i just checked the price guide. cmac was closer than i was. it says from 1.4 to 1.7 mil. soon to be more if the recent past is any indication of the future.

That's pretty wild! Even with barn finds it's all relative.

How big are the cylinders on a 2L 12cyl? Would they be about soda can diameter or smaller?

yeah, thats about right.

its a pretty small engine but it revs up pretty high and the car is very lightweight.

I would have to imagine that with that many cylinders in such a small displacement it revs up pretty quickly and high. I'd love to hear what it sounds like! Probably like a stirred up beehive.

Nobody builds a car as beautiful as a Ferrari. I just can't stop looking at them.

C'mon how can you compare Ferrari with AMC? The Matador, Gremlin, Pacer, Hornet. The list of visually stunning goes on and on.

I remember my dad having a brown AMC Hornet back in 1975, with seats that looked like some sort of picnic tablecloth and those really pointy wheel covers. He replaced it the next year, fortunately, with the 1962 220 that got me hooked on MB as a 5 year old.
