Someone buy my car!

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=110120546689

This is my first ebay listing what do you guys think? If their is anything I can improve let me know.

I tried to take pictures of the problem areas since I assume that everyone knows what a W126 looks like.

Hat,

My .02.
Whenever I look at ebay pics I pay as much attention to what I don't see as what is shown. For instance, with no full side or rear shots, I wonder about dents, dings, etc. in those areas. With no pic of the engine compartment, I wonder what it looks like under the hood. A total disaster or signs or a well cared for car, etc.

As to your ad, the pic of the dash is not too visible and since the odo is broken anyway, it doesn't say too much. Either reshoot it to eliminate glare or remove and put a side or rear shot in there.
Glad you are honest in your presentation. NO neg. feedback
Good luck.

Take a nice pic outside, in an attractive area, and make that your "primary" pic. If someone searches "Mercedes diesel," your listing will come up and if you chose to pay the "Gallery" fee (which I always do), the first (primary) pic will be shown with the results of the search. At the moment, that pic is just a blurry shot of your dash, and someone might pass your listing right up. Good luck with the sale, though!

Ditto what cscmc1 said regarding the pics. There are some beautiful spots in Milford take advantage of them, go down to the green, the beach or pull down some nice sidestreet and pull up in front of one of those big ol' houses and snap some pics. I'm not sure if you can change pics or not once a bid received but I think you can always add some.

Yeah as soon as the weather clears up I'll take a nice picture down the marina. I'll throw up a few of the engine as well.

I took this pictures for another buyer, so I wasn't to concerned about getting a pretty picture. I just wanted to show him some stuff that we were talking about.

Look for Herb Phillips. He sold a bunch of MB on eBay for ridiculous sums. He posted here also. Copy him.

Hattie,

the pictures suck, you will be lucky to get $1000 out of the auction, maybe more but you know what I mean.

Actualy their is a contruction site across the street. The pictures were not originaly intended for an ebay listing, I will add more if I can.

If I get $1k I will be happy. Honestly I am hoping it ends in the $700-$1k range.

Hattie, hurry, find a stripper in a g-string, plop her on the hood, and take a pic. Can't hurt.

Ok, sure.

But it will cost you $100 extra, he is heavy.

I didn't mention they all last 500k miles but I did mention WVO and biodiesel, so I should get some points!
