Crash, by j.g. ballard
My daughter is doing a report of some sort on this book, I have to read it too as part of the project...anyone familiar with it? I picked up a copy at Borders today and think I'll get started on it tonight.

Is this the book that was made into the movie 'Crash'?

Looks like it's the basis of the older Cronenberg film, 'Crash' not the recent American film. I liked Cronenberg's film. The sex scene in a convertible Lincoln in a car wash was memorable.
