That manhole cover stopped the truck dead in its tracks when it hit it. Man, that's a lot of power. I wonder what caused it? Someone forgot to open the outlet valve?

Wow!
Good thing that was storm water, and not sewage. Looks like a case of too much rain, and not enough drain. That cover looked huge! The small 24" MH covers are usually 170lbs plus - that one would've been waaaay heavier (well, heavy enough to stop a truck).

I love how cars just keep driving by, even after the wrecked truck is sitting there. I wonder where this happened... it seems that here in the U.S. some people would at least to take some pictures on their cell phone.

Having spent much time on highway safety, my educated guess it that is a 60" cover. You need a loader/backhoe to remove those!
