Sharp Euro 6.3 on ePray

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/1969-MERCEDES-BENZ-300SEL-6-3-LOW-MILEAGE-CA-CAR_W0QQitemZ320115239011QQihZ011QQcategoryZ6330QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

For that price, the seller should fix the oil leak, not diagnose.

That is one magnificent looking Benz. If I had the money it would be in my collection. The pictures are VERY professional looking and definately make the presentation.

He knows how to put together an effective eBay ad. Good pics go a long way.

Hooooooollllly Mooooooolllllllly!

That is the most beautiful 108 / 109 chassis Mercedes I have ever seen. Not a big fan of the velour interior, but it is magnificent.

I too don't care for the velour...non sunroof car too.

Am I seeing things or is the wood too shiny? It looks like hi-gloss boat varnish in the pic's. I'm just nit-picking to make myself feel better about never having a car that clean in my life, and no prospects for ever getting one.

NOTE: In my opinion, the 300SEL 6.3 is one of the most undervalued Mercedes-Benz out there today. It is quickly appreciating, and this particular year is about to have its 40th birthday.
It's an investment, people! That aside, excellent pics.

Ugly? Wow.

I don't think many (if any?) Euro's had the sunroof option. The velour is trick! How often do you see it? Leather/MB-Tex gets old.

It looks to be clean but by no means the best 6.3 example out there. Dan Smith in Portland has one that is unreal. Mark Passerreli from Arizona restored one a few years ago and it looked BRAND NEW. He sold it for 50k, but I heard that deal fell through, not sure what happened to the car. Then there is that 125k joke that pops up every so often and gets discussed here....

Look at the turn signal stalk in picture 19. It looks funny. Is this some sort of photographic effect? It makes the photos look good but I am wondering how it is done.
