My wife and 2 oldest kids are big fans of the books. And by extension I have enjoyed the movies thus far. They're excited for the release and pre-ordered their copy. I am looking forward to the family trip for the movie

I havent seen the movies.. the commercials already ruined my personal image of Harry Potter and the rest of the characters. Me and a girl from work are going to the release party.. We might dress up since its the last book and this is my "star wars" thing

We went to the premier of the last one in Manhattan at the Siegfeld Theater. It was a mob scene outside and my kids were still kind of young. We saw everyone except Daniel Radcliffe. Things got kind of crazy.

My 10 year old son is rereading the 1st book awaiting the release of the last book. We too will go to the B&N party near our village.

I used to read them to my kids when they were little. It was fun reading them, but when my daughters lost interest in Harry Potter, so did I.

I have not followed it no. I think I might have seen one of the movies.

My new series is Death Note, so far I give it a C+/B- but I have only read about 40 chapters out of 108.

I don't like books that work so hard to be overly descriptive. Let me use my own imagination part of the time.

The movies are good but they could have done much better casting someone else as Harry.

Like the books and the movies. The movies have not been quite up to the standard of the books. The last movie was good, but an hour too short at least. We usually get two copies when a new book comes out. Went to the midnight book release last year. Son had finished reading it by about 6am. Wife teaches middle school english and loves the books. Say what you want, but they have gotten more kids to read than anything else in the past 20 years.
