Why bother? Just go over and strip the important parts, theres no shortage of 300CE's over here to put them on.

The importing thing is pretty complicated. AFAIK, only one company had the rights to import the newer skylines, and they were arrested and stripped of their ability. And they paid the Gov. for exclusive rights to do it. As for a kit car based on what I've read so far, it can't just be a stripped chassis, with a US sourced engine, it has to be a bare chassis with no serial numbers, never registered. But, theres is an obvious circumvention to that.
