I'm amazed at how easily the minivan rolled over..........couldn't have been going more than 10 mph.:eek:

With regard to the static spark.........women have no dibs on that. NEVER get back inside the vehicle during fueling...........or..........own a diesel.:D

When women get out of the car they for the most part never touch the metal surface of the car to discharge any static charge on themselves. The girl in the video gets out at first and touches the car but the second time she slides out and wipes her hand on her sweater... and then.. poof. At least she was smart enough not to pull the handle and let more fuel out

I had a Grand Cherokee also; I hated the amount of static the seats produced. It was so annoying and bad; static is just one of the reasons I sold the damned thing.
Not the poor girls fault, with that car it could happen to anybody.

Right on! I can't stand cars like that! almost every rental car I get out of shocks the crap out of me. My Benzes don't do that because the seats are leather, thank God.

Its worse filling boats, because the tanks are much larger and the pumps pump much faster. You always have to tell the guy filling it to keep the nozzel in contact with the deck fill. And to run the blower! When a boat blows it BLOWS, bang chunks everywhere. Also since the tanks are vented to the outside, its an open system unlike a car, you don't smoke on a fuel dock, ever.

Thats one reason why diesel is so nice, leave the car running, talk on your phone whatever it won't ignite.:D
