Hey cool man.

How many men here have wives who won't let them have a motorcycle raise your hands?

Congratulations on your purchase. Lots of luck with it.
Well the Honda 750/4 certainly has a great lineage, going all the way back to when, around 69 when the CB750 Four was introduced?

I don't know if I shared this site before, but a guy named Jim Davis from TX has a website full of tips and tecniques covering a whole range of motorcycle topics. You may find it very informative and helpful in understanding why a motorcycle does what it does.

Hey kmaysob!

Good luck w/the bike...

Go find an open parking lot and PRACTICE - PRACTICE - PRACTICE!!!!

Then when you've just about think you've got it...

PRACTICE - PRACTICE - PRACTICE SOME MORE!

But, you'll love it...

Then, you'll want a BIGGER BIKE!!!

(Damn "bikers' disease" - always wanting something bigger...)

Fresh tires are a very good idea, even if the current tires have good tread depth. Rubber compounds tend to harden after a few years, which decreases traction. I would look at all rubber components, e.g., lines and hoses, for dry rot.
