VA/DC/MA Mid Atlantic GTG...........August 26, 2007

Hey, the summer is winding down and I figure it`s time for a good GTG! The one we had in PA was a lot of fun and I hope to see everyone at this one! This time, I figured we could do a one day event at my house in Sterling, VA. We can toss dead meat on the grill then cruise to the Peter Frampton concert in Ashburn, VA in the afternoon. The date would be August 26. Please let me know if there`s any interest, and I`ll post the details. Thanks

Great! Others have also said they will be there. Anyone interested please pm me for my address. The link to the Frampton Tickets is below. We bought the Gold Circle ones but you can buy whichever ones you like. The concert is around five miles from my house and will be a nice cruise.

Driving would take too long, so it's tempting to fly out there, tickets are cheap.

My wife's family lives in Arlington, VA. Used to work in DC, but all of my contacts/friends have long moved on.

I'd turn DC on it's head! Bot and John Doe will attest to this!

Frampton, dayumm!

Rooms are pretty cheap this time of year. Come on down for the weekend!

I'll give it a shot. The wife let me attend an unofficial gtg in NOLA. Another gtg this summer could be pushing it. We shall see.

I'll come for a visit, but not the concert. I might bring the W911 or the W126.

I'll most likely be there for the barbeque, but can't make the concert. I can't wait to see your new house and the rest of your car collection. Thanks for organizing another GTG, Kevin.

Peter will be very disappointed. Bring whatever you want, I have plenty of food and the fridge to hold it!

I could fly to Ronald Reagan Airport for ~$230 and make it a 4 day weekend.

Oh so tempting.

Depending on where you`re staying, Dulles might be a better option. You can book a nice suite at Candlewood Suites by Dulles on one of the discount site for a good price. Plus, it`s only about 6 miles from my house. If you need someone to pick you up at the airport, let me know.
