Steve McQueen's 6.3 on ebay

Looks like Herb Phillips has Steve McQueen's 1972 300SEL 6.3 on ebay.

I think black looks better on the 109 / 108 chassis than any other color.

That's the way to create an effective eBay ad. Kudos to Herb and Co.

Nice vehicle, probably a good car for a museum.

Beautiful example. If I only had the money to buy all the great Benzes i have seen, this would be one of the first. Steve M. was one of my all time heros, next to John Wayne.

Herb needs to get a hold of this one. Lousiest ad I have ever seen for such a high profile car.

What a beautiful car! The 6.3's must be an absolute blast to drive. I wish I had a spare 60-70K kicking around.

I'm really starting to develop quite an affinity for the older Benzes. I know it's late, but I just wasn't exposed to them prior to me buying my TD and finding MB enthusiast sites and forums.

I've always been a fan of vintage American muscle and luxury cars from the 50's and 60's, but the more I see cars like this the more I want an old Benz.

The more I look, the more interesting older MB's I see. This car is very cool. Have you seen the old finback wagons? Those are at the top of my want list right now.

Yes! There was actually one needing restoration in either Bargain News or TraderOnline within the past month in CT. I'm not sure it's still for sale or not, but they are real cool looking! If only I had the time...
