Thats what I was thinking, is German US? The Turks also make some fantastic meat and rice dishes, the popular Indian dish called Biriyani is the gift from our Turks who came to India 800 years back. A popular Turkish snack called Dolma is very good.

I remember the antagonism between Turkey and USSR which led to the question.

If USSR attacked Turkey from the rear, would Greece help?
