post a picture of your car

I haven't seen many members share their car with the rest of us, I know there are onsite gallery's but i think it would make a good board to post pics.

here is my 300e 86 150k, still working on it, little details and such.

I got the rims from tire rack :-D those are the newst addition to my car.

The car looks absolutely striking with those wheels on it.

Was it a satisfactory experience getting those wheels from Tire Rack, especially with price, delivery and overall serivce?

Was all mounting hardware included?

Are you satisfied with the quality? Mfd in USA or Korea or China?

Did they arrive quick, and you found a local installer for them easily?

Did the installer resent that they were bought from Tire Rack instead of them?
Did they charge and arm and a leg to install them?

Did it require a new alignment?

They look low profile like 17" or 18". Is the ride degraded from stock?
Did you have to roll the lip?

With the larger rims is the low profile a danger to rim damage?

Here is my 83 300D.... 261K miles, new transmission at 253K. Runs like an absolute champ now that she is straight piped and the boost has been brought back to spec. She is probably going to be for sale here in the next month or so as I am going to be acquiring my grandmother's 1999 C280 Sport.

The interior shot is old, I have a new Panasonic CD player now that doesn't stick out so bad as the silver Panasonic does there.

I've put about 70K miles on this car myself since 2001, and I am going to miss it bad when I get the C280.

Ahhh yes, I almost forgot. Just two garages down from me sits a new (07 or 08) S600. Some lady drives it, I'm almost positive it is a lease, it was dirty and it made me sad. Beautiful car though, a new pearl white color with a tan interior.

Nice 201 Zeus! I like the color and the monoblocks! Great combo!

Most have seen enough of these pics on other threads but I will go ahead and post:

and last but not least...the well-worn non-Benz...

Wow Chris! That photo is so good, it looks like it is right out of a factory sales brochure. Or a full page ad in " Nationalo Geographic " magazine.

You ought to put some photographic quality paper in your printer, make some copies, and put one of them in a dark frame.

The picture is THAT good. Truly. You have serious talent.

Not to mention that the car itself looks stunning, especially with those beautiful AMG monoblocks on it.

Evan, the Mog is the one that has me drooling

I've really got to take some good pics of my car. The only ones I have are the when I took with my phone when I 1st brought it home, unwashed and unwaxed for years.

Thanks. It's realy not as fun as it looks. I rarely get to drive it, mostly on and off the trailer for shows and parades. It runs like crap. One day it's going to quit on me in a parade in front of 300 people...

Thanks Jim! I should have prefaced my post as, unfortunately, the talent is not mine. Previous owner took the pics (I think it was actually his cousin, a photographer). He gave me the pics but also took the monoblocks , so my car is currently riding on the stock E430 rims, which I like as well. They look similar to the monoblocks in terms of being a substantial wheel. I would, however, like to buy some mono's in the future as this combo looks great on the W210s, IMO. We'll see...

Nice call on those upgraded rims! I really dislike the factory rims on the E320s/300s (no offense to anyone who likes 'em though!).

Now you just need to drop that chassis a couple of inches...

Thanks!

Well I was very happy with tire rack, the rims were CHEEAPP, (94$ per) so with the tires it set me back 800-900$ Fedex delieved them to the nearest firestone, and the thing i Suggest is buy everything you need, (thinking the lug nuts were standard, i didnt get any online) but I guess you need special ones for mb, we had to across town to find them, so buy everything off tire rack, lug bolts, nuts, center caps, everything. it will save the pain of waiting hours for them to be done.

I am pretty happy with the quality, love it actually.

The install price was included when you bought the tires,

I have unlimited alignment with firestone, which i really suggest everyone have, every three months ill get them realligned. really saves you money in the long run in tires...

the rims are 17's, I had stock wheels before and they didnt do anything to the car, just new rims/tires.

yes its a lot easier to put a nice scratch in your rims when u hit a curve, I already did it but its so unnoticeable to the average person, it just sucks, b.c i know its there. however you can damage any rim by hitting a curve.

but yeah if you order from tire rack, get everything you need, lug nuts/bolts/center caps, b.c it is one hell of a ***** to track something like that without spending an arm and a leg at a benz dealership = waiting however long it takes. best part about tire rack, you see what the rims look like on your car before buying them.
