Beslan
So, September isn't a month of remembrance just for us. 3 years ago the siege of School #1 occurred in Beslan, North Osetia.
The link above goes to the Wikipedia article about the attack. There is this book on Amazon which has high reviews, but not numerous. Has anyone read this book? There seems to be quite a lot of disparity between events and official reporting of events. Russian politics, media and the flow of information being what it is, it should make us all here in this country thankful for what we have compared to there; despite how it seems here at times. What do you know of this attack that may not have been reported? Please only verifiable sources with links - no conspiracy (unless verifiably linked). Finally, could this happen here?

My God...the only thing I knew about Ossetians {from my Gramps who was Ambassador to U.S.S.R.}was that they were easygoing folks who atoned for adultery with the gift of a pig.
