Ok, I don't usually do this, but from time to time people get away with passing internet jokes through all my layers of defense, and into my inbox. Usually they get a cursory glance and a "delete". This one however, I liked enough to share...

CALMNESS IN OUR LIVES

I am passing this on to you because it definitely works and we could all use a little more calmness in our lives. By following simple advice heard on the Dr. Phil show, you too can find inner peace.

Dr Phil proclaimed: "The way to achieve inner peace is to finish all the things you have started and have never finished."

So, I sat back and thought about it, and figured he might just be on to something here. Many times in my life I've started down a path, only to get distracted, distraught, or just plain disinterested, and never seen it through to it's conclusion.

But what to do about it? I very much doubt that I'll have luck completing the German club homecoming float project at this late date. I'm not even sure if my teacher is still teaching...

So I thought to myself, rather than make this in and of itself another thing I never finished, the best thing to do was start right now, with what I had. So I looked around my house to see all the things I started and hadn't finished, figuring what better place to start than here at home, so before leaving the house this morning, I finished off a bottle of Merlot, a bottle of Zinfandel, a bottle of Bailey's Irish Cream, a bottle of Kahlua, a package of Oreos, the remainder of an old prescription (hey, you never know when backpain will occur do you?), the last third of a cheesecake, some Doritos, and a box of chocolates.

You have no idea how freaking good I feel right now.
