Nobody in their right mind, but the fear of flying isn't uncommon. We have 2 salespeople who will not fly. Their territories are CT and eastern MA respectively so they don't have to fly for their daily work, but there are national turf and golf shows as well as training seminars 4 or 5 times a year all over the country. They schedule their vacations around them so that they can drive out, whether it's South Beach or San Diego.

While a little "off", it's certainly not out of the question. With all of that driving I'd seriously have to reconsider my career choice

I agree, doesn't sound right; if he's in Atlanta how is he doing the Miami to Seattle trip. If it's true he's probably a drug mule moving coke from coast to coast.
