Hows this for high miles... Honda Civic w/939K!
Someone had posted this on the Pontiac forums.... we were discussing the most dependable cars that everyone had owned and someone had posted this... a 1995 Honda Civic with nearly 940,000 miles! Nearly ONE MILLION MILES. I have seen Hondas with well over 300K and owned several with over 250K myself, but never have I seen a Honda with this many miles. It made many trips from Miami to Seattle. Owner states that it still has the original engine and transmission... has had 8 timing belts/water pumps and three clutches.

Thanks Hat... can you post a link to that thread... I cannot find it. I did a search on Honda Civic and could not find it. I have obviously missed it.

That is impressive. I wonder how many miles a 240d would run with the same maintenance?

I can tell you that a properly maintained OM616 will run for 500,000 miles with ease before needing any work.
