I've heard that about Capital Uno as well....ALWAYS pay well before the due date.

Yeah I heard Capital 1 was a PITA.

I only really want three:

I have a Visa through Sikorsky, which has a sick interest rate, like 5%. I love Credit Unions!

Then I got my Mastercard through Chase. I use it for fuel because I get cash back. So far it has paid me to use it, the interest rate is 0% until Feb. By then it will be totaly paid off.

Once I get my business running and start making some money I want an Amex.

Thats it only three no more. I don't have any store cards or anything like that, rip offs. I owe about $2,500 on my cards now which pisses me off. Soon as I sell something I'm going to zero them out. I hate debt!

If you want any kind of loan car, mortgage, credit card talk to a credit union if you are a member. The rates are killer!

The CU's usually have very good rates on their loans and cc's.

Unlike banks, where profits are turned over to shareholders and the bottom line is money, a credit union usually puts that money back (or a larger portion of) in resulting in lower loan and credit rates.

Credit Unions are best if you can join one.

Definately the correct route. The Credit Unions are best, most of them will help you with everything and probably have credit and debit cards you can get. They can even arrange a line of credit or a personal loan for you to take out for something like a nice used Mercedes Diesel that is not in the Blue Book.

And for a new or slightly used car, you can buy one at the dealer and sign their loan agreement, and then go to the credit union within 3 days, pay off the dealer loan and get a new one at a MUCH lower interest rate, by going to the credit union.

I did that several times, it was a VERY satisfactory outcome, the credit union car loans have a MUCH lower interest rate.

Go and talk to them.
