First: "the speedometer..." No capitalization of the first letter of the word "The?" The programmers are stepping into some pretty tricky territory when you start screwing with the rules of writing... (Besides, they capitalized other words in that message...
 )Second: Sure, it's a 'beta' version...where will you get sensors that interface with the car's computer's O/S and relay info. about what the speed is suppose to be for any particular stretch of roadway? Or, is it tied into the GPS system, assuming that ALL roadway information is current and up to date? Third: Violation of which municipality's rules? Nice try...TOO MUCH INFORMATION for the demo purpose. However, someone will be impressed and want one of those in every car "...'cause I saw it working!" Fourth: Manufacturer's Warranty? Is this thing being developed in the USA or where? Fifth: I plead it... Sixth: I suppose it "could be" a possibility...but I'm thinking that unless you're a complete "pu55y" and you want "Big Brother" holding your hand and wiping your @55, that's what you're going to put up with. I'd tell the "manufacturer" "NO THANKS!" and find the moron in government and replace him with someone that respects the people he WORKS FOR. Seventh: They already have things like this in newer vehicles and trucks already...it's your vehicle's "black box." It records a set amount of elapsed time 'til there's an "accident" or some incident that's triggered a set of rules to put into play. The authorities, with the right equipment, can download that "time frame" and with the proper tools, decode EXACTLY the circumstances the vehicle was "experiencing" up to, and during, the "incident" that triggered the "black box." Yeah, maybe the speedometer "thingy" might just be the next "idiot light" on your dashboard to remind you that you're being an idiot. But then, everyone around yoiu already knows that!  Your car just found out!
