Fried another Dell hard disk

This is my second Dell laptop that I have fried a hard disk. I am so pissed right now. This machine is used, but only 3 years old. I have 8 year old Mac's running on their original drives.

The only reason why I have this hunk of **** is for one class that "requires" Windoze.

Sorry I had to rant to someone....
