There's a national story out this month about how to check if prior claims are affecting your current insurance rates. Apparently you can get a free CLUE (Comprehensive Loss Underwriting Exchange) report once a year HERE
A CLUE report is a report that shows all damages and claims to a person or place. That means every wreck, every nick on your car, every claim that is filed with your insurance is company is listed in the report and you should get a copy to make sure it's accurate before applying for a policy or if you see a big increase in rates. |
