Soo damn sore I can barely move...

I played in a charity football game for work. We had a couple of practices and I worked out for a few weeks leading up to the game. Had the game on Sunday and then promptly drove 2 hours to hunting camp. I couldn't sleep that night AT ALL then I stood in a tree stand all day in the pouring rain.
Now it is Tuesday and I think I am coming down with a cold and my upper legs and upper arms are sore like never before. I can't believe how much pain I am in. I smell like a Ben-gay factory.

When I turned 30 I completed a century ride in 5 hours and then went partying/dancing all night. Come Monday I was in court, trying acase.

Never felt better.

That same year I completed a 10K in 42 minutes and also went partying/dancing afterwards.

Now, if I ride 20 miles or run a mile I am sore and achy the next day.

It is a ***** geting old....

I was going to ask about aging coupled with a couple of days of rigourous athletic activities and tempermental weather...

...can't say I would fare any better if I was in the same situation...

I do have to say Lord Chesterfield was a welcomed companion. Wish I could get my hands on some pills. On top of all this, the starter went in my wife's Expy on Sunday. I have to jump on that tomorrow morning. Yuck.

Just do a few dozen knee bends and you'll feel a lot better ... in addition, if you have access, jump into a steamroom and/or a hot tub, real hot!

Yeah, since passing the half-century mark, I'm definately not as old as I used to be. Have to go easy with the shoulders on my weight machine anymore.
