Seven suits that don't fit

Dang, I have to go to a party tonight and none of my suits fit. I'm just gonna have to get rid of them. Not just that, a bunch of shirts too. It's gonna be sad to see my nice clothes go away.

Yeah, that's why I don't want to lose too much weight. I spent good money on my suits while I was in my fat man stage and they're the only decent looking ones I own.

Kuan, can't you just get them tailored? Or are you eating a little too much...

I guess it depends upon which direction you're going, up or down, weight-wise. I'm always afraid to get rid of clothes if I lose weight. I guess it's a lack of self-confidence in my ability to keep my weight down.

This year I got rid of everything I had in my closet that didn't fit (mostly too big), and am maintaining so far. Hell, if nothing else, it's a good excuse to go out and get some new clothes.

Check if there's a "Dress for Success" program in your area. They, and other similar charities, take donations of business clothing to assist the needy that are trying to get back into the workforce.

I just gave mine to Goodwill, I think. I keep wondering if I'm going to run into some homeless guy wearing one of my monogramed dress shirts . . . .

I had several nice suits that I wore to work while I was a mid-20s single bachelor.

Enter the "business casual" era. Suits swapped in favor of khaki pants and Polo shirts.

Age heads toward the mid thirties...I'm now married and raising a small family...and a potbelly.

Decide to switch gears in my career...in my forties by then. Where's that interview suit? Oh, here it is and WHOA! It won't fit!! And neither will the others!!!

Had to head over to "The Men's Wearhouse" for a couple of new suits with a more forgiving waistline...a few inches wider than my Euro-cut body in the old days...

Yeah you don't want those 70's bell bottom disco suits anyway.

I think I can get the 38's tailored, all the 40's have to go. I dropped like 15lbs since I last wore my suits.

The website says nothing about men's suits. It's all about women.
