Na, my parents have owned a place down there since I was a kid. I keep my license in FL because I don't have to worry about tinted windows, vehicle inspections and the DMV's down there are awesome! Nicest people you have ever met! It's all around much easier.

My wife just ordered hers today: 6SSPD on the Save the Whales tag...it's for her 1994 Chevy Caprice station wagon...6-speed.

^^^^Now THAT license plate I like, a lot. You Floridians (sp?) sure have a nice selection of personalized plates to work from. Probably you ought to get some kind of glue in the screws or something to save them from getting stolen.

They might be worth $$$$$ one day!!!.

That other thing, decal or what ever it is, is a little too big. It should get attention though, but if it says something too controversial some jerk might key your car - so use good judgment

A while ago when I was looking into a personalized plate I wanted one that said "TOPGEAR" as in the Top Gear TV show with Jeremy Clarkson....etc....and the on-line plates site said it was taken!! So yesterday, I am walking through a parking lot at my school on the way back from an IT service request....and a silver mid 90's Jetta GLI goes past me, and he has a CUSTOM MICHIGAN "TOPGEAR" plate!!!! He has the plate I wanted!!!!! I was about to chase him down! Truly not fair. Oh well. And of all the places in the state it could have been, it belongs to a student at my tiny little college! (under 1700 students!) Crazy.

i never thought about it that way .. so if you get license plate outta state they cany bust you for tint or smog devices , etc ....

i have family in mod-west ..might be good idea .. i wanna put turbo on and my mechaic said you cant mod your car here and pass smog ..
