My Reality
I'd always thought I was a member of the middle-classes, but after seeing this 'pillow' my reality changed and I realized I was a member of the lower-classes.

I just wrote a check for 7500 gallons of AvGas.
I’ll have to wait ‘til next month for the sham.   NOT !! Wow.... $2K for a couch pillow??? I don’t get it.  Around here, those are the first things to be tossed to the fake wood laminate floor when it’s time to sit down.

Fabric is very, very expensive, and I didn't fully realize this until a recent move. If you think pillows are expensive, try out $8K for one set of drapes. Lampshades? Rugs??? Outrageous bucks.
The most expensive furniture I used to own were my two antique leather club chairs and matching ottoman. Now they are the cheapest.
