Good point....Last time I stayed at the Marriot I wondered at the minor stains on the drinking glasses.

Perhaps Milagra or Esmeralda used the same cloth to wipe their cooters before "polishing"the glasses.......I just use'em for booze anyway so any germs are like as not killed on contact

Nice . . . . I think I'll follow Carleton's example. I'll just disinfect my glass with alcohol . . .

I viewed that last week. Disgusting to say the least - that ends my use of hotel glasses for any purpose.

Rondo we know you did, they were shot glasses! That's the last time I use a hotel glass or cup, I'll just drink straight from the bottle. Scotch neat.

I don't stay in expensive hotels with drinking glasses. At the kinds of hotel I can afford, you get a Dixie cup that comes wrapped from the factory in its own little bag.

I now have a much greater appreciation for those "cheap" hotels that use plastic, disposable drinking cups.

Wow. I've drank from those glasses.

It's been a few years since it happened? Will it help if I gargle with vodka now? I could at least maybe erase the memory of that news coverage.
