Here's what I'm giving to my son for Christmas

My son is just about 2 years old and ready for his first bike. An all-terrain tricycle to ride on our crushed stone driveway and on the grass. I can't wait to see him on it. I haven't been this excited about Christmas since I was a kid myself.

Those are great trikes, Chad. I bought one for my oldest son when he was 2 or 3 and it lasted through my daughter and son #2. It's great with the balloon tires for uneven and off-pavement terrain. Very cool!

My 4-yr old boy has a single-seat battery Jeep, but he's been pushing real hard for a two-seater so that my 2-yr old boy can ride with him around the 'hood. So they're getting this:

I would never get my kids a battery operated car. Kids need exercise.

Is there any way to mount a 617.X engine on that thing?

That is a very cool truck. Now you can get them to do some work around the yard;)

That's what the shovel is for.:)

And rake, and wheelbarrow, and reel mower...

My kids have a 2 seat electric Peg Perego Land Cruiser (bought it at Sears 5 years ago for 1/2 price because it had a crack on the floor board) and I made up a trailer out of an old wagon. They have more fun loading it up with "stuff" and dumping it out back and with the role playing they're in and out of it constantly and running around. It hasn't lessened their exercise any.

Plus it's nice because they can haul the wheeled cooler down to the park for the summer concerts on the green. :)

I agree. I'll be getting my son a pedal car (a Mercedes, of course) next Christmas. He'll be three by then, and more able to handle it. He's got a tricycle but hasn't quite put together the steering and pedaling at the same time thing yet.

If I can find a w123 pedal car for the right price I will get one. All I can find are SL pedal cars.

Where can I get this? My daughter is almost two too and she needs something like this to expend all that energy :)

I've never seen a W123, but when the time comes I'll be getting him a 1950's vintage SL. It is out of production, but you can usually find them on eBay. My dealer only seems to have SLKs now, either electric or pedal.

I found it on eBay. There was only one from the seller I bought it from. Once it gets here I can let you know the manufacturer. Maybe Swamp can tell where he got his.

You'll have to post photos. What a great gift.
