Plastic Surgery

Just got done watching Dr. 90210. And was wondering what the average guy thinks about women who get plastic surgery. Are you guys for it or against it?

He knows your wife? In a good way, of course . . . ;)

My acceptance of cosmetic surgery is based on a vanity vs. need scale.

I'm not for Joan Rivers and Michael Jackson, but I am for the person who lost 250lbs and has a tent for skin.:)

Ditto, that is almost a need.

When my wife and I were dating I was initially surprised to hear her comment about a former very attractive model looking run down and that she should have some work done. Now that we have been together for 11 years, I know she is dead serious, and when things start to go south, she is very serious about having work done.

She is only 33 and still super hot body wise so I doubt she will have anything done until late forties(?). Fine with me.

As far as a young woman having plastic surgery for bigger tits, ect......? I would never have pursued a woman (to keep) that had artificial features. I never dated fake blonds or chicks that wore blue eye shadow, ect... either.

I have considerable philandering experience and would say to young women that have boob jobs and get tramp stamps ect.....get used to getting used alot.

Aklim's opinion is (hopefully) independent of that:)

I don't know what your wife looks like so I can't say.

That independent enough for you?

What is the difference betewen a nice dress, make up, shoes, etc, etc and plastic surgery? They are all meant to enhance what the girl has and hide the bad stuff. Plastic surgery is way cheaper in the long run.

I think it is a pretty bad idea to get silicone implants, it seems likely to cause problems later on.

Nose and chin jobs seem a lot better idea to me.

* I prefer women to stay as they are, but I can understand why a woman would want a good boob job. No problem there with me.
* Face work ought to be banned - it usually looks like crap.
* Liposuction is for lazy people.

Apparently not.

In the area where I am from, you see alot of chicks that have had boob jobs.... Look unproportional...

So, when we see it, we now have a code name for them... They have a "Lift-Kit."

Meh. I'd much rather look at, and be with, people who aren't afraid of growing old. There are stories in those lines, in every scar. There is family history in the shape of each nose, size of every ear, march north of every hair line.

Keep myself clean, usually shaved, and hair more or less under control and I am the best I am gonna look. Same goes for my darling wife.

Do I enjoy her dressing up now and again? Hell yes - she is a wonder to look at nude, in grubby jeans, or in a killer little black dress with fish net. And I honestly believe that wonder will continue to be there as she ages, since no small part of the beauty I see in her comes from within.

You guys can keep your silicone and your lifts/tucks/artistic enhancements. I like people.

Prefer my women natural with all of what nature gave her. Surgery just can't replicate nature in any way, in most case it makes them look worse than before. Has anyone seen Paula Abdul lately. She seem to have a permanent grin attached to her face. Thats a classic case of surgery, looks totally ridiculous.

Hatterasguy 12-13-2007 09:29 PM

Most of it looks fake, its not hard to spot.
