So, i was dating this girl but she dummped me and left her BMW infront of my house

I was dating this girl for over a year, then she dumped me moved 200 miles away and left her wreak of a BMW infront of my house. I really don't want to be mean about it, but the car needs to go. She says that the brakes don't work and that I should fix them. Sorry, but that is not something that I want to do this time of year. I really don't want to cause a problem but the nerve of some people is amazing. She said she would get to it buy the way.

No way Jose. Unh, unh. No.

"A firm hand is needed early on".

If it is on a public street, let it get loaded with tickets and finally get towed away as abandoned.

If it is on your private property, have it towed away.

Or else, simply push it into the MIDDLE of the street, put on the emergency brake, and then simply walk away from it;...
I guarantee you it won't be there, the next day, if you do that.

Then later, if she asks about it, give the beeyotch an I O U for the B M W.

If she still complains, then give her an I U D.

This is freaking ridiculous.

I would ask her to send me the money up front and fix the car.

Charge a reasonable price.

It is failry cheap to be a class act....and you will have no regrets.

But, get the money up front.

So,was she the screwy brillo pad you ranted about here?

Here's the deal...you the homeowner or renter? Car currently registered, inspected and insured?
Any of these variables would justify having the hulk towed outta there after you formally,by registered mail or phone call ask HER to pick it up.

I'm gonna make a wild assumption that you did not,in a moment of ****-struck weakness agree she could leave the car???

If it's not on your property, I'd not even mess with it.

That said, If you want it gone from in front of your place, call the Police and tell them that there is a car out front of your place and its been there for sometime. ( Just don't call 911 like some other idiots do )

Tow it to the scrap yard and send her the check for it is what I'd do (or mabey keep 1/2 of the check...)

She's 200 miles away, and dumped a car at your place, and wants you to fix it??? wow.

Anyways, what do you mean by "She said she would get to it buy the way."

Does she want to sell it or something? If the cars a pos and not worth much, stick a peice of cardboard in the back that says "I'M NOT WANTED PLEASE STEAL ME"

Good luck
~Nate

If she dumped you because she was moving it was far more humane then stringing you along for months as some women do. Then they find someone else to scratch their itch and send you a dear john letter after you waited for 9 months.
I would just get the $ from her and fix it. You reap what you sew.

I was about to say "charge her through the er, uh, nose for the brake job" but I think you're right.

Let her act the ***** while you put on the class act of all time and some serious good luck might well come to you someday soon.
