So much for the winter driver. No startie, bad battery.

I was going to get a new battery, then last month a winter storm blind sided me. This is storm #2... Maybe she'll sit for the winter to keep her away from the salt. Car is rust free, might as well keep it that way.

Yeah, sure would be a shame to lose a "survivor" to rust.

The S600 does well with the new Dunlop M3 snows. Wagon has an extra set of steelies, but no winter tires.

Yeah, park the 'ol girl in a nice cozy garage for the winter. That's what I did with my SD. Kept it nice and rust free.
But the current owner is a collage chick, so it won't get the same TLC

Only have a 2 car garage, so she'll sit out.

What? You're driving the S600 in the snow?

Let me show you something in a Saab 9000 for under $3,000.

Geez, You guys should have just done what I did..(And for some reason got trashed by all of you for it)

I bought a perfect, 93 Mustang GT, 5 speed, to use as a winter beater. The car has no problems starting, no problems on ice, or in snow, with a few sand bags in the back, and no problem getting out of it's own way on dry pavement. On top of all of that, I can "Drift" if I feel like it, and I also don't need to plug the thing in at night. So while you all are thawing your engines, calling a tow truck, and shooting your Diesels with Ether each day, just to get the diesel to start, or forced to drive your S600's in the snow. I'll be on my merry way. Yet everyone here broke my balls relentlessly about using a mint low mileage, (but worthless to me personally) 5.0 Mustang GT, as a winter beater. My post about it was trashed, to a point where I had to just delete the damn thing. Here's winter, and the 5.0 Rustang is out and about whenever the weather is $#itty enough for it. I paid a few thousand for the thing and it keeps my good cars off the road. Of course the Mustang fans get pissed when they see me out in it, in the snow. That's another part of the reason I did it...Just to piss them off.

Would you all like some fries, with those words you are eating?

Trucky

I went through that deal - almost bought "Rob The Mod's" Audi 200 Q. Things went awry when I found out Dad was ill. The S600 is great with the snows, plus I can raise 'er up with a touch of a button.

I probably mentioned it. Makes sense this way, otherwise I'd need to shell out more $$ for W123 snows and expose her to salt.
