The vibrating football game was a good one, but it cannot compare to the intensity of the hockey game posted by WVOtoGo. We used to have monumental hockey battles. That darn puck would be just sitting there, waiting for somebody to hit it, but you couldn't get your hand on the right controller quick enough. That game would drive us into a frenzy, which is a pretty cool thing for such a simple device.

I got a lot of Patriots related gear, shirts (which I really do appreciate since work can be tough on them), one of those hand-crank rechargeable emergency radio/weather/TV (audio) w/cellphone charger, a few tailgating items. The adults generally don't buy for the other adults, although we give the grandparents a framed pic of our kids along with some Girl Scout candy and Boy Scout popcorn.

While it may seem impersonal to some, my parents and FIL give my wife and I a few presents along with some cash to get things we need or items for the kids that just don't make sense, technologically speaking, to them. They're never sure what to buy as far as tools, electronics and car stuff goes so they keep the options open. And my sister and her BF made my son, brother and I limited edition, silk screened Tedy Bruschi (Patriots LB) t-shirts. Very cool!

Finally, I've been officially Croc'd!:o My mother (who is a strange combination of 60's Flower Child and Republican) bought me a pair of Crocs, in Advantage 4D camoflage. I've made fun of hers and my wife's (my daughter has a pair, too as well as my 2yo nephew). The GD things are so frikkin' light and comfortable I've found myself wearing them around the house, running out to the car for something or walking the dogs. I'm not entirely comfortable yet wearing them in public yet but I'm not ashamed to come out on a forum. :D I almost wore them back to work after lunch today. :eek: Someday, maybe. Someday.

I agree, dc. My brother and I had some epic battles over the years. My sister (who is a great artist) handpainted a second hand Canadiens/Maple Leafs one we had and turned it into the Bruins (me) vs. Whalers (my bro).

I'm working on making a Man Hole in part of my basement and am seriously thinking about getting one of those heavy-duty arcade ones and have her paint it up.

Those folks are mind boggling. Standard Stiga 2R/3L, 33.25x18 tables. If you think you’re good…These folks will make you think again.

When I was a kid, my mother showed me a cartoon in some magazine. Set at Christmas (there was a tree in the background), it featured a small boy holding up a just-unwrapped sport coat and scowling at it and his mother. The caption read: "Clothes for Christmas? I'm not that old!"

So for years, whenever my mother suggested a clothing item for me for Christmas, I'd growl, "I'm not that old!" It was a running family joke.

Well, I guess I must be that old now. Miss Linda gave me a pair of jeans (much-needed, I admit), and a red hooded jacket for exercising; the zipper on my old one is going.

I'd already treated myself to new brakes for the Park Avenue, and (back in August) the Park Avenue itself, so I think I was pretty much covered already this year. The clothes items were icing.

(What I really wanted was the dealer brochures for the '03 Buicks from Autolit.com. I sent Miss L. the link, but she conveniently ignored or lost it. It would have saved her some money, too.)

A great Christmas...and the best part...Santa didn't go into debt this year...most gifts were procured early in the year, and accumulated in time for the holidays!

Case in point...daughter wanted Guitar Hero (anything)...don't have a PS2 or PS3. So gotta buy one of those...the PS2 that is...then the software, the (wireless) guitar controllers, the memory card, etc...it adds up fast!!

Wife also found the kid's long lost cell phone in a seldom-used purse! Then I replaced a fuse in the W124 (thought to have a bad alternator or battery) and got the car back on-line!!! What an awesome feeling!

Santa? well, some new,much needed pants,Florsheim shoes,some good Gin and a roll in the hay with the fat slut down the block who always "paraded about"in her skivvies,really wet p***y,God bless her,shoots c*m like a firehose she did.Life is great:D Man needs such validation for existence he does.
