Problems in Kenya
Hello y'all,
on MSN's front page there was a link to 50 Kenyan's dying in a church that was burnt down during violence after some protested elections (?). Can anyone give me some background or a link to some good background info about that country, how things work, who major players are ? My church helped establish a medical clinic there, and I am becoming more and more interested in how things work in Kenya/Africa/other 3rd world countries. (someday I'd like to go (mission trip) with the group that goes to Kenya once a year to help with their clinic) Any good sites/pages/people with background on this place or current conflict ? -John |
CIA has descriptions of every country on the planet.

The BBC is a pretty good source for world news. http://library.stanford.edu/africa/kenya/kenyanews.html I've only been to Kenya as a tourist, but I lived in Zambia for a couple of years. Not sure what you mean by how things work. |
