In 96 Clinton came to Houston where I lived. He was staying downtown at a hotel next to the building where I worked. I went in early that day, but could not get into my parking garage because a police car was turned sideways in the cross walk, looked like every street in a 1 block radius was blocked that way. I had to park at a meter and I walked to the building, past the squad car.
The cop was OUT COLD. I thought about tapping on his glass but he looked so peaceful.
