So, I met a potential girl friend

She says that she wants to see me again. She is well traveled, very clean, very honest, outspoken and really just a lot of fun. From the five hours I spent with her on Saturday night, I'm impressed. She is also a judge of fine wines. In shorts; she is a lot of fun, she is clean and seems to have an intrest in me. She says that she wants to come and see me again. Says that she would like to start the day going for a nice long run in the moring.

She lives about sixty miles from me....not bad I really want to make something happen, what should I do on the first date. She strikes me as a good honest person, so I don't want to screw this up.

Go for that and get tired before she does. Then take her to a nice restaurant or to a wine tasting. The first couple dates are where you set the bar pretty high. You can slack off around date 5 or 6

Good luck and most of all have fun

Try not to be overeager.

On my first date with my wife, even though I really liked her I waited two weeks before I called her.

Use the distance between you to to your advantage: Talk with her. About anything and everything. This is a great way to get to know each other without any of the up close issues. If you really think she might be a keeper and want to surprise her, write her letters. A forgotten art.
Shortly after I met my wife, I went away to school in another state for several months. We wrote letters nearly every day and talked on the phone twice a week for hours. (she had access to a watts line). By the time I came back home, we knew a lot about each other. And we learned it all without having to worry about where we went on dates, or who liked what food, or any hormone driven baggage.

Try getting her to drop the shorts, that oughta be more fun

Seriously though, this all is chapter 3 in the brillo pad saga.

I reckon there's tons of advice about your previous 2 queries, including the late, unlamented BMW wackjob, let's all see if we can dig'em up,loads of great advice and irony there.

Depends on what level you tend to troll....
This could be a big step up.

Hmmm. One would only write these thoughts in a public forum if the "L" word was involved. nh500sl, have you been bitten by the bug? Hey, it's a good thing.

Just get to be good friends with her first. Don't try too hard to be impressive outside of what's normal for you. Otherwise, when you finally relax, she'll see you for who you really are. Also, I know it's hard for us guys but don't rush to the sack too early. If you do, you fall in love with the $ex and not really with the person. Later, you think, "what the H3ll do we even have in common..."

6 nookie-free months have left me no more enlightened and more than a little grumpy. I'm all for experimentation. This one is over.

I am curvy to the extreme (ie non-scrawny Woman), TALL and done with egotistical wankers or doormats. I am not your Mama. My little boy is 6 and gifted and the center of the universe. You may aspire to a satellite planet, at best- deal with it.

For my part I offer laughs and thoughtful conversation, room lighting smiles and the best oral you've ever had
