Very true.....but those drive-killing interceptions are just laying dormant in there somewhere, just itching to get out.

I know where you're coming from........he's not the most experienced QB........but, he's now beaten the best in the game..........so, something is working for him. Very few mistakes and very accurate passes..............

Could it be the absence of Tiki and Shockey has something to do with Eli's sudden show of confidence? Guys like Bradshaw, Boss, and Smith may not be household names, but they're Eli's team. I might add that they're all contributing to the Giant's success. For a young QB to come in and lead seasoned veterans is a daunting task to say the least, especially for a quiet guy like Eli.

I think it was addition by subtraction with Tiki. With him out of the picture, team chemistry has greatly improved. Sure, Coughlin purportedly has lightened up a bit. But the team has managed to keep any internal termoil just that. Even Strahan, who never misses the opportunity to get in front of a camera, has fallen in line. The Shockey situation is similar to some extent, but not to level of division Tiki provided.

Not yet.

My FIL is a Yankees fan. I'm a Sox fan. He's a Syracuse fan. I'm a UConn fan. He's a Knicks fan. I'm a Celtics fan. He couldn't care less about hockey. I'm a Bruins fan so there's a wash. With him being a Giants fan, football was our one outlet from the numerous head-to-head matchups where we could just talk civilly, free from the competitive nature and stress that fans of teams within the same division or conference might have. So much for that.

At the risk of offending John Madden and by no means wanting to diminish Favre's storied career, most of his records are more a testament to his durability and longevity. Sure he has the most TD's. He also has the most INT's. I would contend that Favre has had more weapons over his career, this season aside.

I think you're right. He's taken most of Marino's records and, IMHO, Marino was by far, the best passer ever to play the game.
