Going to Utah for a week of fun in the snow!
 

The gf and I are going to Park City, Utah Feb 1st for a week of play.
Were planning on skiing for 3 days.
We were thinking of skiing Solitude/Brighton, Canyons and Park City. Has anyone ever been there before?

We were planning on snowmobiling but there are like 9 different companies to choose from. If anyone knows one that's good let me know.

Other than that it's just fun and sightseeing. We definitely want to cruise around the lake and go into town.

I can't wait, it's going to be a lot of fun!

very cool - I was going to post a similar thread too. In late Feb...I'm going out to visit some family but it will be my first time in Utah powder.

I'll be near Ogden - so I'm headed to Snowbasin. Let us know how you make out:)

can you bring me back a rock?.. like just any rock will do.. I ask everyone I know that goes on vacay to bring me back a rock ...

Should be good winter fun for you guys. We're having an awesome winter this year. I don't ski, but I hear the snow's great on the slopes. Have fun!:cool:

I'm jealous.

Alta is my favorite, but I like Brighton as well. Some people do not like Brighton because there are so many snowboarders there. It has some of the best views (all the way to Park City) and my favorite run.

There is a cool train ride from Heber, that goes down through Provo canyon, you may want to check that out. It's slow, and can be a little bumpy, but it's still very nice. Takes a couple of hours.

Well I'm back!! :(

We had an absolutely fantastic time!!

We skiied at the Canyons and Park City. Brighton and the other areas around there were closed. They had over 3 feet of snow in that area Sunday.
We go snowed in Sunday too but we had a great time playing in the snow. Another bonus is my GIANTS won the superbowl!!
We tried twice to get out Sunday but got stuck in the snow twice. I bounced my car off a guard rail. :o Luckily it didn't do any damage.

We went snowmobiling and tubing, It was a great week. We drove out through Ogden and down to Salt Lake City down Highway 15 next to the Lake.
