A day at the shooting range
|
When I first saw that it was called "why Palestinians throw rocks"
|
.577 T-Rex 130-190 ft/lbs of felt recoil, 12,000lbs of muzzle energy.

Man, that gun MUST have some serious recoil! Nice range. Is that something like a 50 caliber rifle? I've always wanted to shoot a Barrett sniper rifle.
|
I laugh out loud every time someone fires that thing! A Barrett is pretty heavy with a substantial muzzle brake and would seem to be easier to control than that monster.

I don't think any of those guys (save the Euro) had any shooting experience. Look at their stances. Look how they put the stock to the shoulder. Look at how they grip with the left hand. One poor guy has the toe of the stock practically in his collar bone, for crissake. Those guys would hurt themselves with a .308. The guy who is letting them shoot should have had mercy on the poor guys and showed them a proper shooting stance.
IIRC the Barrett is built to absorb the recoil and dissipate it over time rather than transfer it to the shooter all at once. That freaking elephant gun I wouldn't shoot unless my life depended on it. Why punish yourself? |
I like how the guy at the end is shotting a more powerful .700 and he takes it like he was shooting a 12 gauge.

Than of course someone had to make a pistol. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YHsEojBGojI

How about the new Para Ordinance Super Hawg .45?
Yep, I'm tempted :D |
