Yup, the Mrs. and I are. I've got the last 2 episodes on the DVR so don't spoil it for me!

I used to be. Lately, however, I've been thinking more and more about living in a condo . . .

Spoiler Alert

Was this the first episode where he was completely wrong on the differential diagnosis?

Some people say I have the same obnoxious, sarcastic personality. Never really seen it though.

His swagger annoys me. The rest of the family watches all the time.

Talking Gregory House

Yeah, he's a hard character to like, and the medico-babble flies by so fast that I'm sometimes not sure what a particular plot twist means. And I wish they didn't do those "closeup-cam organ invasion" shots that CSI pioneered a few years ago.

That said, I like the series. It's fun to follow a central character who's not perfect in looks or personality or social adjustment, and yet is smarter than 99% of the population. Plus there's the loveliness of Lisa Edelstein as Dr. Cuddy!

I suppose you all know what famous fictional character House is modeled on, don't you?

I like how in every episode I've seen (maybe half dozen)they break into a patient's house.

I used to have one. I've been using air conditioners for many years now, though.

I've seen Harold and Kumar Go To White Castle and for now, that's all I can think of when I see/hear Kal Penn.
His character in the movie was also to go medical school, so it totally fits and is pretty funny.

I'll take a couple of stabs at it:

1. Marcus Wellby (sp?) MD

or

2. Richard Kimble?

I like the writing on House. I can't think of another show (that I watch) that is written as well with complex interactions going on with multiple characters at different levels throughout the show. House's one liners are often quite spot on as well.

I always get a giggle when they show, at the end of the acknowlegements, that SOTA (State of The Art) turntables is listed along with GE and other medical device suppliers.
