Baby Boilermakers strike again

The youthful Purdue men just knocked off the #8 ranked Wisconsin Badgers at Wisconsin.

Purdue was supposed to finish mid pack (I suppose they still could). They usually start three or four freshman, and one sophmore or one soph and one junior. The only senior does not start and sees limited action.

Most of these guys are so young you would swear they don't shave yet.

Coach Matt Painter has them playing excellent team ball, with speed and patience and a tenatious defense. They fortunately go nine deep because they tend to get some fouls called on them.

Unfourtunately we don't get too many opportunities to see them on TV because of a dispute between the local cable company and the big ten network. GRRRRRRRRRRRR. It is greed at work.

.....Having fun in Lafayette this winter.
