I dunno, sometimes, but McCain's talk is more straight than Romney's and McCain left him in the dust -- ditto Obama, he comes across as more real than Clinton.

Now that former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney has suspended his campaign because he claims if he continues on against Sen. John McCain, it would be "more likely that Senator Clinton or Obama would win. And in this time of war, I simply cannot let my campaign be a part of aiding a surrender to terror." Earlier in the campaign, Romney famously said his five military-age sons,Tagg, Matt, Josh, Ben, and Craig, were ostensibly serving their country better helping him get elected rather than serving in the military in Iraq or Afghanistan.

I am wondering whether the younger Romneys will now be heading to the recruitment office to sign up for the Marines or Army? It seems the least they can do in this "time of war" now that their father no longer needs their service.

Lesson learned from the Romney campaign . . . try to live in as many states as possible to increase primary victory . . .

It's true here for Obama, many voters here are impressed merely by the fact that he went to high school here, so he's obtained quasi-"native son" traction.
