Now that my car is with me in Atlanta, I need a place to wash it. (Living at a townhouse, no ability to wash the car anymore. :-( )


Can anyone recommend a decent coin wash place around Georgia Tech?

Cactus Car Wash on Ponce does a nice job.

Cactus used to (not sure if they still do) employ homeless people - you'd see them walking around wearing Cactus t-shirts all hours day/night.

I used to wash my own car, so I can't think of other places. But I can suggest that you frequently drive your MB to Taqueria del Sol for tacos I occasionally fly back to get... and can endorse with great enthusiasm Jozef's Mercedes service in Avondale Estates. Jozef can be a bit crotchety, but Greg (actually something like Grezgorzgy) is easy to work with- both are fair and will refuse to repair things you don't need fixed. They are great!
