Any lawyers willing to give free advice?

Long story short, I am 17, and was minorly assulted by a non related friends moms boyfriend...

There was a report made, but since no evidence was found on my person (ie bruised neck, scrapes ect) no arrest was made, and it's his word vs mine. My very soft spoken friend who saw it doenst want to be involved (has to live there for another 3 months...)

I'll pm the entire situation to someone if they think they could help.

Real basic story
I need a haircut, and have my friend cut it usually. The clippers are downstairs
Basic jobless(3+years) slob with a temper is sleeping downstairs. Friend got the clippers, must have woken him up. Friends upstairs to cut my hair, and he comes stomping up the stairs and says "dont you never do that again", points at me and says that he needs to leave. I said after I'm done with my haircut, I'm outta here. The guy grabs my neck and says if you dont leave by the time I count to three I'm going to go downstairs, and then come back up... I forcibly pry his fingers off my neck and he went downstairs. I went outside with my friend and called the cops...

Now, to me, the report looks like I'm just trying to get this guy in trouble since I didnt let him choke me out...

This is CRAP!!!
Can anyone help?
~Nate

I'm not a lawyer, but here's my advice anyway:

Don't go to that friend's house unless you know Jobless Slob won't be there.

Avoid trouble Nate. You don't have to go there. Friend can come over. Step away.

Now that we've talked some sense into you, why don't you let your gf cut your hair?

Be careful about getting free advice. It may be worth every penny.

Go down to your Unit, get some of your buddies, and go back and hold Field Day, or Blanket Party, or what ever they call it in the USAR on his sorry AZZ!

Obtain a copy of the police report, keep it in a safe place, and move on with life.

Although I regularly consult a lawyer for advice on my lawn and the plants in my yard. I've successfully avoided any lawn-related law suits thus far!
