I got a Blackberry
I bought a BlackBerry today to replace my flimsy, piece of junk Apple iPhone.
And I have to day, I like this BlackBerry. Simple, easy to use, and doesn't have the problems that my iPhone had.... Sweet! Anyone other crackberry users here that can point me to cool apps?

crackberry user here
 i got rid of my wretched palm 700P months ago. not a single prolbem. that damn 700p would reset itself. id have it on my desk and bam, it would reset itself. even more maddening while on the phone  depends on what blackberry you have. i have the 8830 for verizon. i have bbemail reader and thats it so far. i like to keep as much software off the original OS as possible. for a skin, i bought a clear skin from www.bestskinsever.com. sounds like some erotic site, but they sell the cheapest clear film anywhere that ive seen. easy to apply and makes your bb scratch resistant bob

What was wrong with your iPhone? I'm a whore and am not tied to any particular devise or service, but I'm satisfied with the iPhone and its AT&T service. It works well, basically as advertised. Just curious what problems you had.

I used to dabble with Treo's but once I was bite the the BB bug I can't go back, I've been using the Pearl but when back to my trusty 8700 that survived the 55 mph tumble.
90% of the people I know that use the iPhone love it the other 10% are BB users that can't get used to the interface.

Yeah, what was wrong with your iPhone? I was planning on buying one and don't want to make a bad decision. So far I've only heard good things.

I wish a BB came with sprint's nextel. Nextels are boring, but pretty tough.

Think Windows Vista when it first came out....
I had problems with it randomly freezing up, many times when opening an attachment to an email. Safari would randomly error out and close. I would try to call someone, and it would give me the call failed to no end. Super delayed text messsages. Sometimes wouldn't ring when someone called me. My contacts would randomly switch phone numbers.... Would call the wrong person. The screen on 3 different iPhones was poorly aligned, and would many times select the item below the one that I really wanted to select. Wouldnt sync to the Bluetooth in the G500. When going to unlock the screen, many times it would go black, and not respond.... Overall, I have just had bad luck with this phone.... Apple replaced my phone 6 times, as I am on number 7. 3 of my other friends have the same problems that I do. Ill admit to bring a whore in terms of technology, as well as a sheep for the corporations.... But their are limits to how much crap I can put up with, and I just could not take it anymore.

Apple has agreed to replace my iPhone one more time under warranty.
So, when they replace it, I am probibally just going to sell it.... Anyone wanna buy my iPhone....? I was thinking like 350 with shipping included for an iPhone, new in box....

I am on AT&T ..previously the artist known as Cingular..
Service good here in Florida and nationwide. I bought a refurbed NokiaE62 smartphone....blows away the palm treo, blackberry AND the Q..I had them all.....had the Nokia two years and solid as a rock. Here's the kicker..paid $29 usd online at Cingular... I get compliments from Crackberry and palm users on it all the time. Here's how I did it...MY old phone with the tel # I had with Cingular was cr*p.....A palm treo...but I was stuck..or pay full retail.....got a second line on my acct for 10 bucks more a month, we share the minutes. Got the new phone, swapped the smart cards and boom NEW Nokia with old # on it....New # and old phone in sock drawer.... Only beef I have is when AT$T took over they pushed some real sneaky policies by consumers..real slick stuff.... This Nokia is actually a third line for me as I have a daughter also on my plan. For the first year of her plan she never used the plan..Neither did I, at the time I was with Verizon...I racked up 19000 rollover points in one year. I went on Cingular as soon as I could get off Verizon and when I did it was month 14 into my two year commitment with them. All of a sudden I see rollover minutes start disappearing off my statement when At$T took over. I inquire and am told, Oh..At$T takes away the previous years minutes on their year anniversary. She claims they take back THEIR minutes on every year anniversary. I say, I PAID for these minutes and they weren't a gift from AT$T. Why should I lose them? A lot of arguing, countless levels of middle management to go through plus phone mail puzzles...in the end I am losing them. Eventually they will lose me as a client. Currently only have 6000 minutes plus my regular 3000 minutes a month and nights and weekend..oh another little kick..only "free" if in NETWORK....How the heck does John Q. Public know what network they are on at any given time? I am NOT talking ROAMING.. I mean you go somewhere your provider does not have a network available even if the party receiving the call is on AT$T themselves...what do they call that ..mobile to mobile?? Sorry to vent..I guess I kinda went off the cliff a little....

My Razr freezes once in awhile, but if I let it sit for five minutes its still good.
I don't know these super phone's never did anything for me. My perfect phone would be a Razr, without the camra and everything else I don't want. But it would have 10 times the power so the calls would be crystal clear everywhere. I also want it waterproof, and I would want the battery to last three times as long. I want a phone that I can talk on while floating around behind a boat, drinking a beer. Now that would nice!
