Problem with I-bankers is that cash flow is paramount. As long as multiple Porsches and country houses are procured, don't matter how much bogus crap is done to the earth. |

Height is such an over-rated thing. Statistics say that it does contribute to one's earning potential. OTOH, I'm 6'0" and I frequently run into people significantly shorter than me who do better in most every category other than basketball.

although I am only 5' 8 on a good day, I make up for it by having a very large...................

On the scale of sizes visible to us and especially understood by us, i.e. grain of sand vs. Mt. Everest or an atom vs. the span of our galazy, for starters, the difference between 6'4" and 5'6" is pretty insignificant.
I've known people 6'8" plus who did not appear to benefit at all from their height, quite the contrary. One guy who drove cab in SF must have been 7'2" or more. Poor guy did not have the overall balanced physique of say, Wilt Chamberlain. His ankles were weak, he walked poorly, hunched over. Must be hell queezing into a car and flying on an airline is almost out. |
6-3 to 6-4 here. (depending on which convenience store I'm leaving)
It's got me nothing but a constant back ache. Tables are to low, chairs don't sit high enough for my legs. Finding even so much as a t-shirt that fits properly is hard (how often do you see an XL-Tall size?) People generally wont get into a fight when your half a foot bigger than them, which I consider the only plus side. |
Yeah, I used to wish ardently that I was 6'5" so I could have had more of a future in B-Ball. But I've come to realize that 6'0" makes it a lot easier to deal with most of the one size fits all stuff you encounter in the world.
