These days? Kids have always done stupid stuff. Think about all the stupid stuff you did and saw other stupid kids do when you were a kid.

Kids have always beaten eachother up, including groups of kids whaling on one. Now we are in the technology age where everyone across the entire country can see when one group of stupid kids do something stupid.

Remember about 10 years ago when there were these tapes that leaked out of a group of high school kids that would beat one person up in a grove by their school? This group did this multiple times.

Dr. Phil has always been, IMO, just a slightly more polished version than Geraldo. Absolutely zero credibility in my opinion and a move like this doesn't surprise me in the least. That 'Dr' in his title is dubious to say the least...

I hope the kids get thrown in the slammer for a good long while. I saw plenty of fights growing up, but never heard of anyone being lured to a home, held hostage with guards posted at the doors. That is the disturbing part.

I guess it is true that kids have always done stupid things. The difference now is that they can easily broadcast it all over the friggin' world. Of course, if they fail to get enough coverage, Dr. Phil is always there, ready to step in and further publicize their stupidity . . . .

Nothing is wrong with Dr. Phil. He is just a happy old media whore trying to prop up his ratings. Don't worry, I'm sure this girl will receive a disapproving wag of Phil's finger while the cameras are rolling.

I think if this move of his gets the publicity it deserves, people will finally accept that he *is* a media whore and let go of this myth that he has any degree of credibility. His whole image is based on making people take responsibility for their actions. Letting this kid rot in jail would seem to fit that mold. Her parents clearly weren't in any hurry to bail her out.

As Zeus said, he's little more than an ambulance chaser.

Nothing is wrong with kids. Why? It is always something else. Look at what someone said:

It's not the bad kids. It's the internet, didn't you know. Further to that, some mindfawk will tell us that those kids had bad childhoods, poor role models, yada, yada, yada. One of them was in the police station and asked "Am I going to be home in time for chearleading practice?"
No, I think your going to miss quite a few of them!
