I really missed driving my wagon

I finished my chain of overhauls this weekend.:D After about 6 months on the jackstands in my garage, I went for a real drive yesterday. Every sense was on FULL ALERT, waiting to discover a sign of some failure.

Everything was OK and cruising the curvy, tree lined back roads almost brought a tear to my eye. I love when a plan comes together.:D

Later this afternoon, I plan to do a valve adjustment and take a longer drive. It's good to remember why I wanted to fix this car up in the first place.

Congrats on a job (apparently) well done! You're really making me feel guilty about not picking away on my little projects.:o:)

Thanks Swamp!

My in-laws came over yesterday and I didn't get to do the valve adjustment.:o Don't feel guilty ... I'm less likely to do repairs when the car still gets me where I need to go.:D

Swamp, you lazy bum.

Well Chad, bring those jackstands and idealistic/energetic virtures and newly road worthy wagon over here to Lancaster, I've got some work to do too:D.

Nice work though, I'm sure the work has been gratifying.

Jackstands, flare wrenches, power bleeder, AeroKroil, and Insulated Cooler (for organic foods, etc.).:D

It's very gratifying when something broken gets repaired and a new lease on life....
