People not to deal with

I wanted to start a thread to warn people to stay away from bad suppliers on ebay or else where and your negative experience. It may help someone not fall in the same trap some one else has fallen in to. If okay let me know I have someone I really would like to list. Where should the thread be placed? Thanks

I have no problem with that. What does everyone else think?

There's an e-bay thread for this, but it's pretty diluted. It would be nice to just have a plain and simple list for this kind of thing...

As long as what you post is factual and not libelous, I can't see what would be wrong with it.

Of course, I have absolutely no authority over anything, and yet I still feel compelled to state my opinion on nearly everything.

The biggest problem with this sort of thread is that there's only "one side" of the story of the deal gone bad.

Not to deal with

I was waiting for paypal to reverse the transaction. Eric Bergman Fort Worth, Texas. His ebay store autoaccessories-4u. Sells mainly Mercedes parts. Here is the story:
Bought a pair of Mercedes front shocks got the rear shocks. He never replied to my 10 emails or so. I decided to file with paypal. In the mean while Mr Eric decides to surface right after I file with paypal saying I will replace the shocks and swearing at me and saying he has no time to deal with idiots like me etc. He has an in correct phone number in his ebay page. I called paypal and was told they will tell me when to sent the item back. This took 6 weeks and finally sent the item back for a refund. In the mean time Eric has called me names, encouraged me to send the item back to an "in-correct" address. Refused to supply phone number. Do not deal with this idiot. He ships all his stuff from a distributor.

Well, I can say MTI is a SOB. He screwed me over on the turbo deal. However, you can always come and add your side of the story.

Would I believe it wholesale if someone told me you were a thief? Probably not. Now if 5 people said you are a crook, that might be different.

Anyone dealt with Vasavi Motors? They ARE listed on the other E-bay thread...and YIKES!

Mistress 04-22-2008 01:20 PM

I would be very wary of purchasing parts off of e-bay.

I have had over 93 transactions and not an issue either way.
